Our operations span across Northern Queensland, with the extensive cattle properties, backgrounding operations in Southern Queensland, a state-of-the-art cattle feedlot, a fully accredited beef processing facility and global marketing capabilities. We offer a full range of Grain and Grass-fed beef categories and export to over 35 countries globally. About the Role : We’re looking for a strategic and commercially savvy procurement leader to take the reins of sourcing and supplier management across Stanbroke. This newly created role gives you the opportunity to shape procurement practices, drive cost efficiencies, and strengthen supplier performance across our vertically integrated operations from cattle stations to feedlot, processing, and value-add divisions. You’ll lead a small high-performing team across our processing plant and Stranbroke Foods, streamline processes, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure supply reliability, cost optimisation, and long-term resilience. Your Key Responsibilities: • Own and drive procurement strategies that deliver tangible business outcomes. • Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers across domestic and international markets. • Streamline procurement processes to boost efficiency, accuracy, and transparency. • Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance to optimise planning, inventory, and supply continuity. • Identify cost-saving opportunities through benchmarking, spend consolidation, and landed cost analysis. • Ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, and compliance standards through structured scorecards and reviews. • Build strong strategic supplier partnerships and uncover global sourcing opportunities. • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team, embedding best practice. Who We're Looking For : • You’re a commercially minded procurement leader with a proven record of driving cost efficiencies and supplier performance. • You have experience leading end-to-end procurement functions across local and international markets. • You are a skilled negotiator with expertise in sourcing, contract management, and supplier optimisation. • You are analytical and data-driven, able to turn insights into practical business improvements. • You are a confident communicator, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. • You are hands-on and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment. • You have tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, or a related field. • You have 10 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management, including senior leadership roles. • You have experience in manufacturing, food processing, or agribusiness highly regarded.
