About the role We’re seeking a visionary and strategic Battery Storage Development Manager to lead the development and deployment of innovative network and non-network energy solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our energy network by delivering cutting-edge technologies such as standalone power systems, microgrids, and battery storage at scale. You’ll provide technical and strategic leadership, ensuring our network evolves to meet the demands of a changing energy landscape while delivering value to our customers. You’ll be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, driving innovation, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with our corporate strategy. This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment.
