Through both community-based and residential programs, the organisation supports individuals and families to build healthier, more independent lives. Community hubs deliver counselling, group programs, and educational support, while residential services offer comprehensive live-in treatment and withdrawal programs. The organisation also delivers specialised, culturally responsive programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, multicultural communities, families and carers, parents, and people engaged with the justice system. About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced AOD Case worker to deliver culturally safe and responsive support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients impacted by alcohol and other drug (AOD) use. Working within a community-based model of care, you’ll provide one-on-one and group support and help clients connect with culturally appropriate services. You’ll also collaborate closely with Aboriginal workers across both community and residential programs to ensure clients receive holistic, strengths-based care. About you: · Proven experience working with culturally diverse and complex client groups within a community-based service environment. · Extensive experience supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with alcohol and other drug (AOD) and/or mental health needs, including working with individuals, families, and communities. · Demonstrated experience engaging with Aboriginal communities and collaborating with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations. · Skilled in group facilitation and the delivery of structured group programs. · Experience providing one-to-one, client-centred support to people with AOD and related support needs. · Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
