About the Company Our client is a respected Australian electronic security integrator, delivering innovative and high-quality security solutions across the commercial sector. With a reputation built on excellence, they are seeking an experienced Security Estimator who is comfortable building strong customer relationships. The Role & Key Responsibilities This is a pivotal position for someone who enjoys blending technical estimating and design expertise to help drive growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with clients, builders, consultants, and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate costings, technical designs, and proposals, while also strengthening client relationships. Prepare detailed cost estimates, tender responses, and technical proposals for security projects. Translate client requirements into accurate designs, cabling schedules, BOMs, and documentation. Conduct site inspections to validate project scope and develop practical, cost-effective solutions. Support project handovers by providing clear design documentation to delivery teams. Identify ways to improve estimating workflows and project efficiency. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in estimating and designing electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms, intercom). Demonstrated technical expertise, with hands on technical experience in the security industry. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to convert opportunities into profitable projects. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders. Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Simpro and Bluebeam (advantageous but not essential). The Offer The successful applicant will receive a salary package commensurate with experience, with a base salary of $140,000 plus Superannuation and Car Allowance, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself with an expanding and highly respected Australian company!
