We are partnering with a respected NT organisation to recruit a Coordinator – Indigenous Youth Program based in Katherine. This role is about leading a team, strengthening community relationships, and creating culturally safe programs where young people feel respected, heard and empowered. About the role As Coordinator, you will: • Lead a team of youth workers to deliver high-quality programs that reflect community aspirations • Draw on cultural knowledge and lived experience to shape safe and supportive environments for young people • Build and sustain strong relationships with families, Elders, schools, and community organisations • Guide program design, budgets, reporting and compliance requirements • Mentor and develop staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team About you To succeed, you will bring: • Deep understanding of Aboriginal culture, kinship and community dynamics • Strong existing networks with families, Elders and organisations in the NT • Proven experience supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people • Demonstrated leadership in youth or community services • Relevant qualifications and certifications (Working with Children Clearance, First Aid, etc.)
