Job Description The Role: Lite n’ Easy is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to begin their career as a 1st Year Mechanical Apprentice . We’re looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team and support the installation, upgrading and servicing of various manufacturing equipment at Lite n’ Easy. This is a fantastic Full-Time opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain practical experience and complete your TAFE coursework with ongoing mentorship and support. What You’ll Be Doing: Shadow and assist qualified fitters and mechanical technicians on real-world projects. Help install, upgrade, and maintain various equipment across the site. Learn and apply industry safety standards, regulations, and best practices. Participate in a structured training program with continuous guidance. Complete all required TAFE modules as part of your development. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment What We’re Looking For: Completion of Year 12 or equivalent. Pre Vocational Engineering certification would be highly regarded Able to work between 5:00am to 1:06pm, Monday to Friday Genuine interest in mechanical systems. Physically fit and comfortable working in varied conditions. Reliable, punctual, honest and eager to learn. Awareness of safety and commitment to safe work practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively What You’ll Gain: Hands-on experience in a high-demand industry.
