As the Director Hospital and Health Board Recruitment (HHBR) you will be responsible for providing authoritative advice and strategic, professional leadership of the HHBR's function within the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) in the Department of Health. What you'll do Demonstrate high level strategic and problem-solving skills, including in the development of new processes in ambiguous and high-pressure environments. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support the Hospital and Health Board Recruitment process. Manage complex matters and prepare complete, accurate and timely advice, including briefings, reports, presentations and other materials to support departmental senior executives. Lead the HHBR function as part of the ORI Branch, contributing to human resource, budget, performance, and reporting requirements. Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Manage staff reporting to this position in line with contemporary human resource practices, including equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour. Highly effective interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to consult, engage and negotiate with a range of stakeholders to achieve a desired outcome in an environment characterised by ambiguity and change. Demonstrated ability to provide written and verbal authoritative advice to senior management on a range of complex and sensitive issues including preparing complete, accurate and timely written materials.
