The APS4 Business and Operations Support Officers work collaboratively with operational teams, external partners, managers and administrative staff within their state and as part of the National team to provide support for the Agency. You will be responsible for allocating resources effectively and supporting the team in day-to-day functions, in order to support successful operational outcomes for ACIC projects and taskings. The National team has a varied range of responsibilities including business / facilities management, operational checks and requests, including dealing with cash and exhibits. The key duties of the position include general facilities management, including escorting of contractors management and distribution of stores such as stationery, milk, toner cartridges and WHS equipment management of assets and exhibits fleet administration and reporting carpark and visitor bay allocations procurement, data entry and processing of financial information responding to operational taskings. Desirable skills and experience Work outside normal working hours may be required The requirement to drive a fleet vehicle may be required so a valid Australian driver's licence would be beneficial Your skills and capabilities We invite applications from people with the following experience, skills and attributes: Demonstrated experience in a service delivery role (or similar) Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide advice to stakeholders Sound organisational skills to prioritise tasks and produce timely outcomes Be a team player, including the ability to share information and learnings to benefit the team Ability to work under general direction with some autonomy, self-manage workloads and take responsibility for the completion of work within required timeframes, across a number of functional portfolios as required Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to source information and maintain effective record keeping Demonstrated competency in a range of information and communication technology (ICT) systems (including the Microsoft office suite) and have the ability to learn new ICT systems and processes as required.
