About the role Our Dispute Resolution (DR) practice is seeking a manager for its legal support team, which is responsible for providing high quality legal and administrative support to lawyers. The Legal Support Manager is responsible for the supervision, training and development of our legal support team. Our Canberra DR legal support team has approximately 15 people who provide support to lawyers in our DR practice. In this position, you will work closely with the DR National Coordinator of Legal Support, other Legal Support Managers from our offices, DR National Managers and other members of the DR leadership team. In this role you will be responsible for: managing a high-quality administrative support team in a professional environment contributing to the development, championing and support of new systems, practices and processes to ensure the provision of administrative services ensuring the team has appropriate capability and capacity to provide the required support, including training and development of team members fostering collaboration across the AGS practice. About you This role will suit an experienced professional who ideally has: leadership, training, development and recruitment experience a demonstrated ability to manage key stakeholder relationships with excellent interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities advanced technology skills and experience ideally including legal practice software systems.
