Position Overview: As an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) at Lotus Montessori, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality educational programs that align with Montessori principles. You will guide children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development while creating a safe and stimulating environment. Montessori knowledge and qualifications are not mandatory, as you will receive mentorship and training to gain Montessori knowledge. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement effective learning programs following the Montessori approach and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Lead and mentor other educators, fostering a collaborative and professional environment. Create and maintain a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment that supports each child’s growth and development. Develop strong relationships with children, families, and staff, ensuring open communication. Regularly assess, document, and communicate children's learning progress and developmental milestones. Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS) and child safety regulations. Support and participate in the ongoing improvement of the center's practices and procedures. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (recognized by ACECQA). RRHAN-EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect – Education and Care) certification (mandatory). A strong understanding of child development and early learning frameworks. Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid Certification.
