Opportunity now exists for a Supervisor / Leading Hand to join one of the Northern Territories leading producers of crushed rock, aggregates and concrete materials. An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual with a hands-on approach to become an integral part of the team. About the role • Supervising the day-to-day operation of the production workforce with daily allocation of equipment • Planning and assisting with maintenance of crushing & screening plant and all heavy vehicles • Ensure compliance is maintained with all company policies, procedures, and legislation • DIDO position based at Mount Bundey - Arnhem Highway • Bus available from Humpty Doo • Monday to Friday - 10 - 12 hour days • Saturday - 6-hour day (depending on requirements) • Work vehicle while on site to complete duties Skills & Experience • Operation of production equipment including excavators and front-end loaders • Supervision / team leading experience preferred (or ready to step up) • Maintenance planning and scheduling • Problem solving skills - identify issues, assess potential solutions, and implement necessary corrective actions to maintain productivity and efficiency • Able to work independently with excellent communication skills • Current HR license preferred • White card or be willing to obtain • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening If you have the skills and experience required and you are interested in finding out more, please phone our Darwin office on 08 8947 04 to discuss, or apply for this position by selecting the Quick Apply button and forward your resume.
