Your new company A government organisation in Neerabup are seeking an experienced Traffic Management Officer to join the team. This role is being offered on an initial 6-month temporary contract, with a possible 6-month extension on offer. You will be required to work full-time hours and will be paid at an hourly rate. Your new role As the Traffic Management Officer, you will be responsible for: Providing technical traffic management advice to stakeholders to ensure maximum road safetyProvide support and advice to minimise congestion on the road networkIdentify and implement an effective traffic management schemeConduct traffic volume analysis to establish suitable hours to conduct works on roads What you'll need to succeed Possession of a current Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) accreditation.Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and/or on your own.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsA diploma in Engineering (highly regarded)Strong digital literacy skills with experience using AutoCAD (highly regarded) *Please note that due to the anticipated duration of the role, people on a restricted visa cannot be considered What you'll get in return Full-time hoursNeerabup office with parking available on-siteState Government opportunity
