Business Development Executive – Retail Independents Location: Gold Coast Your Impact As a Business Development Executive at Asahi Beverages, you’ll play a key role in driving sales, distribution and brand experience across a portfolio of ~60 independent liquor and grocery accounts. Covering well-known independents like Thirsty Camel, drive-throughs, and detached bottle shops across the Gold Coast, you’ll build strong customer relationships, deliver commercial growth, and ensure our iconic multi-beverage brands achieve maximum visibility and impact. Key Accountabilities Manage and grow ~60 independent retail accounts across the Gold Coast Deliver against sales, distribution, volume and execution targets Execute promotional programs, merchandising, and pricing compliance in line with commercial plans Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring regular call coverage and effective frequency Conduct business performance reviews to identify opportunities and close execution gaps Collaborate within a supportive field sales team to share insights and drive continuous improvement Represent Asahi’s alcoholic beverage portfolio, ensuring best-in-class in-store execution About You Previous field sales experience in FMCG (liquor experience highly desirable) Strong account management and relationship-building skills Background in retail management (bottle shop or grocery) advantageous Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets through data-driven planning Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills Current driver’s licence and ability to travel locally within the Gold Coast Motivated, adaptable and eager to represent one of Australia’s leading beverage portfolios Why Asahi Beverages?
