About the role The company is seeking a strong Backend Engineer with relevant experience to join the development team in Sydney. The role is primarily focused on the development of DroneShield product DroneSentry-C2 . Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations Contribute to the development of our C2 product to meet the demanding operational requirements in real-world deployments aligned to the long-term product vision Design and develop features from conceptualisation to realisation working closely with the global software engineering team Qualifications, Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience More than 5 years’ experience in software development Experience developing with Golang, or relevant typed languages (C++/Rust) Experience working with two or more from the following: distributed and parallel systems, Unix/Linux environments, web application development, developing large software systems, and/or security software development Experience developing microservices infrastructure is ideal Previous ‘start-up’ or ‘scale-up’ experience is favourable Familiar with Docker, Postman, GitLab, AWS is favourable. You are a lifelong learner. You’re self-taught and continuously learning.
