An opportunity now exists for a Workshop Supervisor, trade qualified as a Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician, to lead our Mackay workshop team, driving quality, efficiency, and safety. The business is the authorised area dealer for Scania, Palfinger, Maxilift, UNIQ, Tommy Tailgate and Hiab , giving the team access to leading OEM equipment and support. Prochem also holds ISO accreditation across Safety (45001), Quality (9001) and Environment (14001), ensuring a workplace that values safety, high standards, and continual improvement. Oversee repairs, servicing, and maintenance of on-highway equipment. Ensure jobs are completed to OEM standards, safely and on time. Coordinate workflow, allocate jobs, and manage workshop efficiency. Ensure repairs and maintenance are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner to maximise customer uptime. Use diagnostic tools and workshop software to track jobs, maintain records, and report on performance. Enforce safety, compliance, and housekeeping standards across the workshop. What We’re Looking For Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic/Auto Electrician (essential). Experience supervising workshop operations (essential). Strong background with heavy vehicles, trucks, and on-highway equipment (essential). OEM experience (highly regarded). Computer literate – capable with diagnostic tools, workshop systems, and reporting (essential). Strong leadership and organisational skills with a focus on safety (essential).
