As a shift supervisor, you’ll be responsible for opening and/or closing the venue and overseeing large-scale food and beverage service in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Directing, managing, and assisting a team of up to 15 staff responsible for ticket collection, food and beverage ordering, and large-scale in-cinema service. Demonstrating a strong understanding of hospitality workflows, including order timing, service sequencing, and customer engagement. Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a premium guest experience. Opening and closing the venue and ensuring all related procedures are completed. Performing the duties of all supervised team members as needed. Operating and troubleshooting fourth-generation laser projectors. Overseeing shift staffing and wage budgets. Communicating clearly with front-of-house team members during service. Working independently while reporting to the Front of House Manager. Ensuring venue cleanliness, health and sanitisation compliance (Gold Coast City Council), and adherence to OLGR and other legal obligations. What We’re Looking For Minimum 2 years’ leadership experience in a high-volume hospitality venue. Demonstrated understanding of efficient hospitality workflows and service delivery. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proactive, hands-on, and enthusiastic attitude with strong attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Availability on weeknights and weekends. Ability to work 28 hours per week. Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate. What We Offer Competitive hourly rate: $36.00 – $38.00 per hour . Immediate start for the right candidate.
