The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Desktop Engineer to support one of our blue-chip customers on-site in Perth, WA. You will be the face of BD-S in the customer’s technical hub, providing walk-up and remote support across a fleet of Windows 10/11 devices and associated peripherals. Key ResponsibilitiesAct as first and second level support for incidents and service requests, ensuring prompt resolution and high customer satisfaction.Staff the on-site technical hub (walk-up bar), triaging and resolving issues in person.Diagnose and fix hardware and software faults on desktops, laptops and tablets.Administer and troubleshoot within Azure Active Directory and Intune-managed environments.Support and maintain typical enterprise applications, including Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud.Configure and repair peripherals such as printers, POS terminals and barcode scanners.Maintain accurate ticket notes, asset records and knowledge base articles.Escalate complex issues to third-level teams while retaining ownership of the customer experience.Uphold BD-S values by communicating clearly, respectfully and with empathy, even when juggling competing priorities. Required Skills & Experience3 years in desktop support or field engineering across large Windows 10/11 fleets.Proven experience with Azure AD, device enrolment and group policy or Intune configuration profiles.Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.Hands-on ability with hardware break-fix and peripheral diagnostics.Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Remedy or similar).Strong customer-service mindset and the composure to operate in a busy, walk-up environment.Australian work rights and the ability to pass background checks. Nice-to-HaveExposure to SCCM, Endpoint Manager or MDT imaging.Experience in retail or POS hardware environments.ITIL v4 Foundation or relevant Microsoft certification (MD-102, AZ-104, MS-900).
