This includes ensuring operations are safe, environmentally sound, and compliant with procedures, while supporting the safety of personnel, subcontractors, and visitors. Key accountabilities include: Directing personnel to support operational duties aligned to their skills and training Undertaking plant operations such as pump stations, pipelines, valves, odour control, dosing systems, and screening/grit systems Performing plant isolations, issuing permits, and coordinating contractors for maintenance and repair activities Interrogating SCADA systems, interpreting alarms and trends, and responding to faults Supporting incident control, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives Undertaking preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of plant and equipment What You Can Bring to the Team: Essential requirements: Excellent organisational and decision-making skills Current unrestricted driver’s licence Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Sound computer skills with professional proficiency on MS Suite – Outlook, Word. Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team Qualifications in a relevant trade or discipline Desired qualifications: Certificate II or III in Water Operations Solid understanding of wastewater pump station operations MR Heavy Vehicle Licence and Truck Mounted Crane/Dogging HR Licence CV Crane Licence (greater than 10m) Confined Space Entry As an integral member of the team, you will be willing to work flexible hours to meet our operational demands, the ability to travel to metropolitan sites as required and participation in a 1st level On-Call function.
