Reporting directly to the General Manager you will be integral in supporting Lumineye’s growth as well as providing assurance to external customers, suppliers, regulators, and other key stakeholders that all products that leave the gate meet all the relevant industry standards. The Quality Manger will be responsible for the management and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System, maintaining and certification to ISO22716 GMP, SMETA (SEDEX) and other private GMP Standards This role is also responsible for all staff training and OHS compliance. Key responsibilities will include: Responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the Quality Management system Lead, manage and influence Lumineye on appropriate industry quality standards Conduct internal audits and head up all external audits to ensure compliance to the Quality Management system, ISO22716 GMP certification and SEDEX SMETA Continuously improve, implement, and maintain policies, standards, and procedures Prepare and submit routine QA Customer reports as required Foster a strong quality culture within the organisation including delivery of internal training programs on the quality system To be successful you will have: Demonstrated leadership experience in related role Qualifications in internal Auditing, Quality, or related fields and have facilitated external auditing. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment - Experience in cosmetic manufacture or food is Highly desirable In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant standards Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to managing business requirements High level of communication and problem-solving skills Company: Opportunities for career progression and additional training Staff events such as company BBQs, Christmas Parties etc Although not essential a background in cosmetic or food manufacturing would be an advantage.
