What we are looking forSomeone with a slick creative eye that thinks outside the box when it comes to content creation and marketing. End-to-end social ownership: Plan, schedule, and publish across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts (and emerging platforms) with a consistent, distinct M87 voice and look.Strong attention to detail.Content production: Capture on-site (BTS, crowd, artist moments), cut reels/shorts quickly, and package assets for pre-announce, announce, on-sale, and show-week pushes.Creative direction & brand guardianship: Maintain M87’s visual language; brief designers and videographers; build reusable templates and toolkits that speed delivery without losing edge.Campaign implementation: Build rollout plans for each show (timelines, asset lists, channel mix), coordinate approvals, and ensure on-time delivery.Community & creator partnerships: Manage DMs/comments, cultivate micro-creators/UGC, coordinate giveaways, and liaise with artists, agents, and venues for cross-posting.Email & CRM light-touch: Draft and send show announcements/recaps; segment lists; A/B test subject lines and layouts.Reporting & insights: Weekly snapshots and post-mortems covering growth, engagement, and sales impact; translate data into next-campaign improvements.On-site support (as needed): Content capture, live posting, asset wrangling, and rapid turnaround edits during show windows.Collaboration: Work with Touring/Ops on timelines; Ticketing on links/UTMs; Finance on budgets; Production on schedules to ensure seamless activation from announce to aftermovie. What you bring2–4 years in social/marketing for music, nightlife, events, or youth culture brands.Strong portfolio of short-form video (reels/shorts/TikTok) and static content that performs.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro/After Effects/Photoshop) or Final Cut Pro, plus Canva for fast turnarounds.Strong knowledge of Australian Dance Music sceneAesthetically pleasing edits and content that are up to date with modern day marketing.Comfortable switching between hype posts, informative show comms, and brand storytelling.Organised, deadline-driven, and calm under pressure - able to juggle multiple shows and priorities.Comfortable on-site at events (nights/weekends as required), capturing content. Always good to haveExperience marketing electronic music specifically (genres, scenes, communities).Practical knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and (ideally) TikTok Ads: audience builds, creative testing, pixels/UTMs, and conversion tracking.Familiarity with Resident Advisor/Eventbrite campaign flows, smart links, and tracking.Basic motion graphics for titles/lower-thirds; camera know-how (phone mirrorless).Email platforms (Mailchimp/Klaviyo) and lightweight CRM segmentation.Relationships with local creators, photographers, videographers, and media pages.Paid social & performance: Set up/optimise paid campaigns (Meta/TikTok), manage budgets, audiences, and creatives; track CTR/CPA/ROAS and drive conversions to RA/Eventbrite.
