Role Description As a Senior or Principal Consultant , you will provide advanced advisory services and training in the field of mining and mine planning. Your responsibilities will include: Leading mining studies (at a range of levels), audits, technical reviews, due diligence, and operational improvement studies. Managing projects and advising clients on best practice solutions. Driving business development and providing thought leadership within your area of expertise. Delivering training courses and mentoring both internal team members and external professionals. The role offers flexibility to be based anywhere in the APAC region. While you will work autonomously, you will be part of a highly collaborative team. Some local and international travel will be required. Your Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you should have: Over 10 years of experience in the mining industry, with strong technical expertise in mine planning. A professional qualification in mining or a related discipline. Experience across a variety of commodities and mining methods Strong software skills in mine planning packages, ideally Datamine products but open to others. A broad professional network and strong reputation in the mining sector. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Previous experience in a consulting environment (highly regarded). A strong work ethic, commitment to delivery, and a passion for innovation and improvement in the industry.
