Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the repair, servicing, and preventative maintenance of production machinery and site equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Key Responsibilities Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and plant machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime. Perform machine changeovers, adjustments, and upgrades as required. Work closely with production staff to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance. Maintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to safety and quality standards. Skills & Experience Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent. Previous experience in food or FMCG manufacturing (highly desirable). Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Understanding of safe work practices and HACCP/food safety standards. What's on Offer Attractive Rate: Up to $50 per hour plus overtime. Shift: Days based - 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday.
