The role offers: Competitive rate: $40.00/hr Penalties Free parking on-site Stable 8:30am start time Friendly, supportive team environment Real career stability in an essential industry Work with people who value practical solutions and a strong work ethic Key Responsibilities: As the Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer, you'll support the daily AP/AR tasks for our client’s Transfer Station as well as assisting in other departments such as General Admin or the Weighbridge Office. Create purchase orders for site services (e.g. subcontractors, trades) Process outgoing payments once approved Raise and send invoices, escalate assist with credits/rebates Record daily incoming payments Track and report truck weights and volumes to aid sales data Assist Truck Drivers with Paper Dockets and Queries Follow up customers on outstanding/late payments Handle customer queries by phone and email Use internal database to track financial and customer information Support general admin and finance tasks as needed Assist other departments (e.g. Weighbridge/Admin) during busy periods or staff shortages Who We’re Looking For: You’re a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a background in accounts payable/receivable. You’re comfortable working independently and enjoy being part of a practical, operations-driven business. Ideally, you’ll bring: Previous experience in a similar AP/AR or finance administration role Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal Confidence handling phone-based collection activity and customer service A flexible, can-do attitude and a willingness to help out across departments Experience in a trade, construction, or logistics environment (preferred but not essential) Weighbridge Customer Service Officer The role offers: Competitive rate: $37.08/hr Penalties/Saturday rates! Free parking on-site Rotating shifts: 3 weeks (5:45am – 12:30am) 1 week (10:45am – 5:45pm Every second Sat 5:45am – 5:30pm (paid penalty rates!) A role largely autonomous with great support as needed Stable career in an essential industry Good variety of work as you may assist Admin/Customer Service when required Key Responsibilities: As the face of the site – you will be assisting arriving Truck Drivers and arrivals at the site with queries, directions and recording weights for full trucks to report for sales data. You will use their internal database to record weights and other customer information in addition to general administration when needed. Operate front site entry and exit boom gates Greet arrivals and assist with queries Record weights of arriving vehicles in database if dumping material Use emails and phones to report any issues or to escalate queries to relevant internal teams Assisting in the office with general Administration support as needed Ready to take the next step?
