BIM Coordinator Design-focused architectural practice Location - Sydney CBD Salary - $100,000 - $130,000 Super ABOUT THE COMPANY. This company is a design-focused contemporary architectural practice with studios located in every major Australian city. This practice has some 500 talented architects, urban planners, interior designers, researchers and digital visualisation experts. They focus on Structure, Craft, Art and Nature – interpreting each principle for the project at hand. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES. Coordinating and assisting in BIM project setup within a team Optimising efficiency and quality of design and documentation, BIM processes and deliverables Ensuring BIM coordination and execution plans are produced and maintained for each project Supporting and auditing projects, flagging non-compliances, and assisting with resolution Assisting in the development and up-skilling of staff in all aspects of BIM Producing reports for senior management to track and measure BIM performance Keeping up-to-date with advancements in BIM, including add-on software and coordinating adoption and customisation. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE. Passion for design and architecture Appropriate tertiary qualifications Working knowledge of Revit is essential Must understand the practice of architecture, project delivery, and modern construction methods, including the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards Excellent communication skills, including a proactive approach to problem-solving Must be a critical thinker who is active throughout the design delivery process.
