Job Description As a Job Placement Consultant , you will actively work to support people living with illness, disability, or injury return to work or obtain new employment and live the best life they can! You will undertake a variety of activities including: Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce; Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence; Apply and deliver customer service in employment services and job placement; Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment; Brokering new employment or work experience opportunities in remote and regional areas which in turn, provide a swift re-engagement into employment for workers who have been detached from the workplace; Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations; Assist in developing written reports and brokering vocational programs that support return to work outcomes.
