The Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD) leads the public sector and works collaboratively both within government and with the community to achieve positive outcomes. The Policy and Cabinet Division sits within the CMTEDD. The division is dynamic, connected and diverse, and plays a key role in the development of ACT government policy. As Director, you will contribute to our positive and energised culture within the division. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management experience to draw on the right skills and people in a contextually appropriate manner. You will have strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills with extensive experience in leading large and often complex program delivery and people management critical to the role. You will also be required to build strong relationships across the public service and with key external stakeholders, to provide whole of government governance support and strategic policy advice to the Executive and Ministers in relation to Cabinet matters and Government priorities within the Branch’s portfolio responsibilities.
