About this Opportunity Transport & Dispatch Operations Manage SAP Order Management and Lead Time Control Create and maintain dispatch windows at dispatch points Build and optimise loads to meet KPI targets Execute day-of-dispatch activities, including slot re-bookings and system updates Communicate daily exceptions (missed dispatches, delays, order changes) Load Planning & Scheduling Build loads aligned to network structure Clean SAP shipments daily Provide weekly schedule forecasts to carrier base Escalate non-optimised loads for approval prior to scheduling Confirm carrier bookings, driver details, and fleet allocation Receive and confirm rail service bookings Order & Data Management Perform manual order cleanse and ATP validation Update SAP route data and ensure accuracy Hold and assign new customers to routes before scheduling Clear SAP credits and process write-offs weekly Ensure carrier compliance with Linksafe requirements Record exceptions and incidents in Day Book Communication & System Use Maintain strong communication with dispatch points, carriers, and customers Communicate clearly across diverse audiences using analytical and organisational skills Utilise Transport Management System (TMS) at expert level The successful candidate will need a good understanding of transport planning and scheduling concepts and principles, load planning and chain of responsibility purpose and obligations. Exposure to transport within the FMCG industry would be advantageous as would any experience with SAP. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is flexible and adaptable to work a variety of work rosters, show attention to detail, and have a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and rapport within the business.
