We are seeking a passionate and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a respected Aboriginal community-controlled family support organisation in Western Sydney. This is an Identified role – open only to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants under Section 14(d) of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. About the Role As CEO, you will provide strong cultural and strategic leadership, ensuring Aboriginal children and families are supported to live strong, connected, and safe lives. Reporting to the Board, you will drive organisational strategy, champion Aboriginal self-determination, and oversee delivery of culturally safe programs and services. Key Responsibilities Lead with integrity, embedding cultural values in governance and practice. Inspire, mentor, and grow a skilled, culturally competent workforce. Build strong relationships with Elders, community, and key stakeholders. Drive strategy, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Advocate for the rights and wellbeing of Aboriginal families at all levels. About You Strong cultural knowledge and ability to walk confidently in both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal worlds. Proven leadership in Aboriginal community-controlled organisations or related sectors. Skilled at relationship-building, advocacy, and navigating complex cultural and political environments.
