Based in Perth CBD Monday to Friday Ongoing Perm Full time Employment (with long-term) GR Production Services (GRPS) is seeking a detail-driven and experienced Turnaround Planner to join our embedded workforce within a client team on a major turnaround. This is a permanent, full-time position , based at our client corporate head office in Perth CBD and operates Monday to Friday . The role plays a critical part in collaborating with multi-disciplinary stakeholders throughout the pre-execute, execute, and run-out phases of a major Turnaround (TAR). As a key planning resource, you will be responsible for schedule development, resource levelling, critical path identification, and progress tracking using Primavera P6 . You will support readiness and execution planning by building optimised schedules and working closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractor interfaces. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and maintain detailed Turnaround schedules in Primavera P6 Build phase-specific schedules for pre-execute, execution, and run-out workstreams Liaise with engineering, maintenance, operations and contractor teams to obtain inputs and ensure logical sequencing Conduct resource levelling and identify the critical path for effective work execution Facilitate schedule reviews, optimisation workshops and SIMOPs coordination Run sensitivities and ‘what-if’ scenarios to support decision-making and contingency planning Support progress tracking during execution, generating lookahead schedules and managing emergent work Monitor updates against the baseline and communicate schedule risks and mitigations Qualifications and Experience Mandatory: 5 years Experience Proven experience in TAR or shutdown planning in the Oil & Gas or heavy industrial sector Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 Strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience in multidisciplinary project environments Excellent attention to detail, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset Exposure to SIMOPs, field execution, and operational readiness will be highly regarded Familiarity with CTR processes, mobilisation logistics, or TAR scheduling (preferred) Comfortable working in embedded client environments and liaising across multi-disciplinary teams Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident learning new systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong understanding of maintenance processes, asset integrity, and shutdown logistics.
