Description The Role This role will involve working as an integral part of a small team on our fast-paced production lines packaging an array of fresh salad products for our processor, food service and retail customers for both local and international markets. Key Responsibilities Handling product, packing finished product into boxes and labelling Palletising product ready for dispatch Working on various production lines General cleaning and housekeeping duties An understanding and able to adhere to Food Safety standards Follow established protocols, hygiene standards, and safety procedures always Work in a refrigerated environment (average 2.5 degrees) A safety-first approach to your work to ensure your own safety and the safety of others. Reporting to: Team Leader & Production Supervisor Skills And Experiences Be physically fit and be able to undertake manual handling duties. Must be able to work as part of a small team. Sound numeracy and literacy skills High attention to detail Basic numeracy & literacy skills to understand instructions. Be reliable and have a strong work ethic. Previous experience in a production environment is highly regarded but not essential. To be successful in this role you will be expected to: Be available to work AM or PM shifts. AM shift: (1am-3am start time), PM shift: (1pm-3pm start time) and Saturday's as required. Stable transport arrangements to and from site. NB: we are located 8kms out of Maffra and there is no public transport to the site . Arrange your own accommodation.
