The Cathedral School is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Voice Instructor to join our performing arts team to help students discover, develop, and celebrate their unique voices. As the part-time term-time Voice Instructor at The Cathedral School, you’ll work with students across various age groups and skill levels, delivering high-quality vocal instruction that builds technique, confidence, and musical expression. You’ll play a key role in school performances, choirs, and musical productions, helping students shine on stage and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging vocal lessons to students from beginner to advanced levels both in individual and group lessons tailored to student needs. Conduct choir rehearsals with a focus on vocal technique and performance skills. Prepare students for school performances, competitions, and examinations. Collaborate with performing arts staff on school events and productions. Foster a supportive, inclusive, and creative learning environment. Experience in coaching children and/or adolescents in singing. Current First Aid and CPR. Valid current Blue Card (Working with Children check). A love for teamwork and excellent communication skills. All staff at Cathedral are expected to support the philosophies of the School, must either hold or be able to obtain a Blue Card and/or be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.
