Order Processing & Invoicing - Handle counter and phone enquiries, raise quotes, process sales orders, and issue invoices through the internal point-of-sale system. Stock Control & Merchandising - Assist with stock replenishment, maintain product displays, and ensure the trade counter and showroom are clean, organised, and well-presented at all times. Product Knowledge & Technical Advice - Develop a strong understanding of Gyprock products, accessories, and systems to confidently assist customers with technical product information and solutions. Team Collaboration - Work closely with warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered on time. Skills & Experience Customer Service & Communication Skills - Ability to build strong relationships with trade customers, communicate clearly, and deliver professional service both in person and over the phone. Product & Technical Knowledge - Understanding of building materials (particularly plasterboard and related products) with the ability to provide accurate product advice and solutions. Sales & Computer Literacy - Competence in using point-of-sale systems, handling transactions, preparing quotes, and managing orders efficiently in a fast-paced trade environment.
