The roles will be based in Onslow, on Barrow Island or the Wheatstone Platform in Western Australia on a?10-week?FIFO roster?- two weeks on, two weeks off, two weeks on, four weeks off. Chevron is looking for candidate s who are based in WA or want to make Perth their home. As a production technician, you will operate all equipment within your assigned area, prepare equipment for maintenance, complete equipment isolations, and perform key duties of an Area Controller such as an Authorised Gas Tester. Additionally, the Production Technician will: Respond to trips, emergency incidents / situations, troubleshoot process and technical problems Participate in training activities to maintain competence in the application of emergency response procedures Create and monitor work order status codes in computerised maintenance management system (CMMS), assist with revision of procedures and root cause analysis work Maintain a comprehensive shift log, conduct shift hand-overs to ensure smooth transitions and carry out Operator Routine Duties and assigned production work Focus on continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and increased plant availability/capacity about you We know our greatest resource is the ingenuity, creativity and innovation of our people.
