Bell River Thoroughbreds are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Equine Husbandry Technician to join our team. Duties will include: providing essential daily care, assisting in raising livestock through monitoring, and operational support for horses in various settings performing additional Husbandry tasks involved in raising foals and yearlings, including but not limited to tasks like feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls etc Assisting with breeding programs, which may include controlled breeding experiments, artificial insemination, pregnancy testing, lactation management, , and maintaining health records monitoring young horse health and behavior, reporting issues, and maintaining facilities, equipment, and health records to ensure the welfare and smooth operation of an equine facility. Other animal husbandry work as required The successful applicant will have: Tertiary Qualifications in Equine Science or similar At least 1 year of full time experience in a similar role Ability to work on a roster working 1 in every 3 weekends Ability to work independently and lead a team Please apply through this platform
