Employee Assistance Program PentenAmio’s Women’s and Veterans Networks About the Role The Project Support Officer is responsible for assisting the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of projects by providing high-quality administrative, reporting, and logistical support to the Project Manager, Technical/Engineering Lead, and Client Experience Lead. This role is critical in supporting day-to-day project operations, documentation, and communication across teams to ensure that project activities remain organised, tracked, and aligned with delivery timelines. Working as part of a fast-paced cross functional team to achieve outcomes for our clients, we require you to be a positive self-starter who is detail-oriented with strong communication skills. Skills & Experience Experience working in a project support role. Understanding of project delivery concepts (e.g. milestones, scope, risks, issues, deliverables, dependencies). Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall — and how they influence project structure and roles. Awareness of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure. Understanding of basic documentation standards, including action logs, meeting minutes, RAID logs, and status reports. Understanding of stakeholder communication and engagement practices, including how to escalate issues or flag risks effectively. Experience with the Australian Defence and National Security industry is favorable but not essential. Qualifications & Eligibility To be eligible for this position you must: Be an Australian Citizen; and Hold a Negative Vetting 2 clearance or higher.
