About the Position: Ocean2Earth are a growing and expanding business currently investigating several regional expansion opportunities. Your role as Sales Assistant will play an integral role in supporting Ocean2Earth’s sales function by managing inbound enquiries, processing orders, and assisting with day-to-day administration. You will help to ensure a smooth and professional experience for our customers. As a key player behind the day-to-day sales of Ocean2Earth products you will develop and maintain strong customer relationships and will provide general sales administration to keep the pipeline flowing smoothly. You will report into the Business Development Manager and will manage order processing, invoicing, and freight arrangements. This is a permanent full-time position based out of our office in Southbank, Vic. Alternatively, we could be open to this role being based out of another Pentarch office, for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities include: Providing general sales administration including lead tracking, order status updates and general support to sales staff. Provide outstanding customer service as the first port of call for incoming enquiries. Call back and qualify inbound leads as well as following up on customer enquiries and quotes in a timely and professional manner. Order processing, including daily monitoring and forwarding to the correct warehouse for dispatch. Developing and maintaining strong customer internal and external relationships. Provide proactive resolutions to customer complaints or feedback, ensuring matters are escalated as and when required. To be successful in this role you will have: A proven track record of success in a similar sales administration role. A strong administrative skills and experience, including the use of Microsoft Office is essential. Experience within the agricultural sector (or similar) is highly advantageous. The ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A basic understanding of freight and logistics is desirable. Cert IV in business administration is advantageous. A demonstrated ability to understand customers’ needs and provide tailored solutions. The ability to effectively manage difficult or challenging interactions with customers A full driving licence is also preferred to allow you to visit our customer sites on occasion.
