About the role: As the Finance Officer, you will be an integral part of a multi-entity business operating in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The workflows require precision and attention to detail. Reporting through to the Finance & Business Services Manager, your responsibilities will include: Invoicing (accounts receivable) and debtor management; Processing receipts, reimbursements and weekly creditor payments in Xero with accurate coding; Preparing and processing payroll, including leave, superannuation and employee setup; Maintaining key contacts and registers for banking, insurance and other agreements; Reconciling bank and credit cards; Liaising with sources to correct incomplete financial information; Ensuring project expenses comply with approved processes and limits; Frequent inter-entity transactions; Preparing initial BAS and assisting with month-end journal entries; and Contributing to budgeting and cost analysis using Excel. About you: To be successful in the role, you will hold a qualification in accounting or bookkeeping (recent, or soon to be, accounting graduates are welcome to apply). You will also have prior experience in accounts work, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills and confidence in negotiating deadlines. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Xero are essential. A willingness to learn, grow professionally and contribute to continuous improvement will help you thrive in this role. How to Apply?
