The Role We want a qualified carpenter (Cert III) with 5–6 yrs experience who's ready to step up as a Leading Hand . You'll run jobs, wrangle trades, keep clients happy, and make sure the site doesn't look like a bomb went off. Your Day-to-Day Run sites – toolbox talks, delegate jobs, keep it safe Plan ahead – order gear before anyone yells "where's the nails?" Carpentry – framing, cladding, decks, fit-off (done right) ✅ Quality checks – no shortcuts, no bodgy fixes Client chats – respectful, friendly, no "builder grunts" What We're Looking For Cert III carpenter, 5–6 yrs exp Strong background in residential construction is essential for this leading hand position Confident leader & problem solver Presentable & professional (clients notice) Detail-obsessed (near enough isn't good enough) Non-smoker (sorry, clients can smell it a mile away) Australian citizenship required for this position What You Get $50–$55/hr ($104K–$114K/year) Paid day off on your birthday (go have a beer ) Family-first, no-drama crew Steady pipeline career growth Recognition & rewards — because you're worth it
