Use your content design and web publishing expertise to provide timely digital communication support to the department Play a critical role in ensuring that the department's website, intranet, social media and community engagement channels are accurate and up to date This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time VPS3 role in a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service VPS Grade 3: $79,122 - $96,073 plus superannuation About the Business Unit: Strategic Communication is the department's centralised communication team and delivers communication services on behalf of the department's business units to inform and educate the community and staff about departmental policies, programs, and legislation. About the Role: The Officer works in the digital communication team within the Strategic Communication branch and provides timely communication support and advice for the department's business units, senior executive and ministerial offices. Some of your duties will include: Writing, updating, scheduling and publishing web, social media and intranet content Developing social media content, including static tiles and simple animation Undertaking general website maintenance including broken links, responding to user feedback and reporting. About You: As our ideal candidate, you will possess: Experience in using content management systems, in particular Drupal Experience using Canva Awareness of Victorian State Government digital policies and processes including branding, visual style guidelines and website standards Qualifications/Requirements: An appropriate tertiary qualification in communications or related field is highly desirable.
