Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Chef with a strong background in Mexican cuisine to join our team. The Chef will be responsible for preparing authentic dishes, assisting in menu execution, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations alongside the Head Chef. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook authentic Mexican dishes to restaurant standards. Assist with menu planning and execution of specials. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety compliance. Support stock rotation, ordering, and waste control. Work collaboratively within a fast-paced kitchen team. Requirements Strong background and proven experience in Mexican cuisine – including tacos, salsas, marinades, tortillas, braised meats, and traditional flavour profiles. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working in restaurants or similar kitchens. Ability to handle high-pressure service with efficiency and quality. Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills. Solid knowledge of food safety and OH&S practices. What We Offer Competitive salary package.
