As a live-in member of the community, you’ll play a key role in shaping an exceptional resident experience. Working closely with the on-site team and your fellow residents, you’ll help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where everyone feels at home. The Community Assistant supports the property management team in achieving occupancy and retention goals by assisting with leasing, marketing, event coordination, and customer service. You’ll contribute to community initiatives, support daily operations, and help ensure our residents have a rewarding and engaging living experience. JOB DESCRIPTION Key Responsibilities Support the leasing and property management team with day-to-day administrative and customer service tasks, including resident communication, document preparation, and payment coordination. Assist with leasing activities such as responding to enquiries, conducting property tours (virtual and in-person), and helping prospective residents through the application process. Help coordinate move-in and move-out processes to ensure a smooth resident experience. Contribute to marketing and community engagement by supporting on-campus outreach and promoting events and initiatives. Assist with planning and delivering resident events and programs to build a vibrant, connected community. Act as a friendly, reliable point of contact for residents, responding promptly and professionally to questions, concerns, and after-hours issues when on call. About You You’re a friendly, confident communicator who enjoys connecting with people and creating a welcoming community atmosphere. You take pride in helping others and bring enthusiasm, initiative, and a can-do attitude to everything you do. As this role requires you to live on campus, you’ll be an active and approachable member of the community, someone who residents can rely on for support, guidance, and a positive presence around the property. You have great communication skills - whether chatting face-to-face, over the phone, or online, you know how to make people feel heard and supported. You’re a team player who enjoys working with others but can also take ownership and work independently when needed. You’re organised, adaptable, and proactive, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You bring a positive energy and genuine enthusiasm for delivering an exceptional experience to residents and colleagues. You have strong cultural awareness and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. You’re creative and detail-oriented, with a natural ability to solve problems and stay calm under pressure. If you’re looking for a role where you can contribute to a vibrant residential community, grow your skills, and help others feel at home, we’d love to hear from you!
