Brewer | Green Beacon Brewing Co. (Teneriffe) 13-Month Maternity Leave Contract | Hands-On, Independent Brewery Environment Your Impact Join Green Beacon Brewing Co. as our next Brewer and play a hands-on role in crafting high-quality, small-batch beer at our Teneriffe brewery. Reporting to the Acting Head Brewer, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end brewing, cellaring, and packaging processes on our manual 12HL system. This is an opportunity to work in a tight-knit team, maintaining our award-winning standards of quality, safety, and consistency while supporting a smooth production handover during maternity leave. Key Accountabilities Conduct all brewing operations including milling, wort production, yeast pitching, fermentation management, and dry hopping Maintain cellar processes, quality testing, and daily record keeping Perform packaging activities such as kegging, cleaning, and assisting with canning runs Adhere to strict hygiene, safety, and compliance standards, including chemical handling and CIP operations Support the Acting Head Brewer and Assistant Brewer to deliver consistent output and operational efficiency Contribute to warehouse upkeep, pallet wrapping, and stock movement as required About You Minimum 2 years’ professional brewing experience (must be capable of brewing independently) Strong understanding of manual brewing systems – experience with valve-driven or small-batch systems highly regarded Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and brewing best practices Physically fit, reliable, and comfortable with hands-on, labour-intensive work Forklift licence preferred; brewing or TAFE qualification (e.g. IBD) desirable Team-oriented, detail-focused, and passionate about craft beer Why Asahi Beverages?
