About the role Exciting hybrid position working across ICU, Cardiorespiratory Wards including Heart-Lung Transplant and Cardiothoracic Ambulatory Care as part of the PERFORM Research Project Lead the delivery of expert, tailored physiotherapy care within the stipulated areas Work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team within these areas to develop and implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions Apply your advanced clinical skills to work independently in a high-pressure environment, making informed decisions to optimise patient outcomes Drive service improvements and contribute to quality initiatives and research focused on CTS physiotherapy Provide specialist advice and leadership within the stipulated areas, supporting physiotherapy service delivery across the CTS program About you You’re a qualified and AHPRA-registered physiotherapist, with no restrictions on your scope of practice Bring proven knowledge and experience in acute care physiotherapy, particularly in critical care and the management of ventilated patients Confident in applying clinical reasoning and exercising sound professional judgment in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment A natural communicator who thrives in a team, building strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues alike Committed to continuous improvement, with a demonstrated history of planning, implementing and leading physiotherapy services.
