Job Description SGS are seeking a Senior Technical Manager to provide high-level technical leadership and support to our laboratories in Perth and across the APAC region. Key Responsibilities include, however are not limited to: • Set up new equipment and implement analytical techniques using existing company methodologies. • Conduct regular technical audits and ensure compliance with global standards. • Troubleshoot analytical and quality issues across laboratory operations. • Travel to regional sites on a short-term basis to resolve technical or quality concerns. • Provide technical support and expertise to laboratories within the APAC region. • Assist in the training, mentoring, and professional development of technical staff. • Support laboratory commissioning projects and ensure successful start-up and training. • Collaborate with the Group Quality Manager to develop and validate new analytical methods where required. • Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Natural Resources Quality Management System.
