Location : Mile End, SA About the Role As an Employment Coach within APM Futures , you will provide tailored employment support to NDIS Participants, early school leavers etc, empowering them to achieve their vocational goals and build sustainable career pathways. You will be motivating, mentoring and supporting personal growth, helping your participants to develop and establish their vocational identity, tailoring their supports to their individual requirements. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored, hands-on support to a small group of participants, ensuring a highly consultative and responsive approach to individual needs. Provide mentorship that fosters personal growth, encourages skill development, and enhances participants’ capacity for meaningful employment. Offer person-centred assistance to individuals transitioning from school to work, supporting their journey with empathy and strategic guidance. Facilitate workplace integration by providing on-site support once employment commences, helping participants adjust and thrive in their roles. Collaborate with employers to offer consultation and support, promoting inclusive practices and sustainable employment outcomes. Design and implement personalized learning strategies that scaffold each student’s transition from school to further education, training, or employment. Advise students on meaningful post-school pathways, helping them build functional and fulfilling lives aligned with their strengths and aspirations. Engage directly with students through school-based sessions, while also offering services within community settings and APM offices. Conduct dynamic workshops covering topics such as employer networking, personal development, skill building, social-emotional learning, and career planning. Essential Criteria: Eligibility to work in Australia Current driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle Valid First Aid and CPR certification Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check Commitment to completing the NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement Flexibility to travel as required to support service delivery and participant engagement Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Desirable Qualifications: Certificate IV in Mental Health, Community Services, Youth Work, Nursing, or any Allied Health discipline ( preferred but not mandatory ) The work you do is Momentous!
