The Role We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee our Urgent Care nursing operations in our Bankstown and Wentworthville Centres. Your Responsibilities Clinical Leadership and Training: Lead and mentor a passionate team of urgent care professionals. Champion best-practice triage and patient care, ensuring high standards through supportive oversight and ongoing clinical development. Nurse Leadership in Urgent Care Centres: Inspire and support practice nurse teams within our network of Urgent Care centres. Oversee treatment room operations, lead clinical audits, and optimise rostering and inventory processes. Quality and Compliance: Be the guardian of clinical governance. Lead audits, uphold accreditation standards, and embed a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence. Workforce Planning and Development: Attract, develop, and retain top talent. Take ownership of recruitment, mentoring, and professional growth strategies for our nursing and paramedic teams within the Urgent Care centre. Strategic & Business Development: Bring fresh ideas to the table. Collaborate with leadership to shape future services, drive innovation, and enhance patient care through strategic planning and stakeholder engagement. About You Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse. Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desired but not mandatory. 3 years of clinical nursing experience across any of the following: Urgent Care Primary healthcare Community You will be required to provide a Working with Children’s check and National Police check if not already obtained. Proven skillset in leadership, mentorship and management. Strong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills. A passion for patient-centred care and a personable approach.
