Our dishes are made from free range, organic and local produce. Bivouac Canteen & Bar is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Head Chef to join our team. Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities: Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality Manage daily production planning Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering Costing and control kitchen operations Control and direct the food preparation process Managing and working closely with other Chefs of all levels Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines To be considered for the position you must posses the following: At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or similar relevant qualification Excellent cooking skills and overall technical expertise Excellent leadership skills Effective communication skills If you think you meet the above criteria, please apply now.
