About the role Bathurst Regional Council is seeking a dynamic Tourism Marketing Coordinator to champion the Bathurst Region as a premier visitor destination. In this role, you’ll develop and deliver innovative marketing and public relations strategies, strengthen industry partnerships and drive implementation of Council’s Tourism Marketing Plans. You will lead initiatives that boost visitor engagement, manage Bathurst’s tourism platforms and publications and collaborate with local businesses, media, and government to enhance the region’s profile. Key Requirements Undergraduate Degree, or higher, in tourism, marketing, business or other relevant field, and minimum two years relevant industry experience. Demonstrated skills in research, analysis and report writing. Demonstrated skills and experience in developing and implementing a marketing plan. Ability to devise and present ideas and strategies to enhance tourism operations. Demonstrated experience in writing and proofreading creative copy Maintaining of websites and interpreting data analytics Demonstrated strong attention to detail in project planning and implementation.
