Your New Role - Freight Forwarding Clerk As a Freight Forwarding Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and the timely movement of freight. You will support FCL, LCL, airfreight, and cartage activities across our automotive division and wider supply chain. The Freight Forwarding Clerk is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following: Chase and process freight charges, request payments, issue delivery orders, and handle invoicing Provide cartage operations support specifically for our automotive vertical Assist with FCL, LCL, and airfreight check-ins and help organize deliveries efficiently Manage end-of-month billing for 3PL customers Generate and distribute reports to clients in a timely manner Lodge SCA (Special Customs Arrangements) for specific shipments and assist with other ad hoc duties as required What you'll need to succeed Freight Forwarding Clerk experience Practical administrative experience in international freight forwarding or logistics Familiarity with FCL, LCL, airfreight processes, and cartage operations, preferably within automotive or similar sectors Experience with invoicing, payment follow-up, and billing cycles including 3PL customer billing Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Proficiency with CargoWise or similar freight forwarding systems highly regarded Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional telephone manner High level of accuracy and attention to detail What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your resume, or call Thomas Hunter now at 0437 537 710.
