Optical Assistant – Part or Full Time Alstonville Optometry We’re looking for an Optical Assistant to join our friendly team at Alstonville Optometry - and we’re ready for you to start as soon as possible! This is a flexible role (4-5 days per week, part, or full time) where you’ll work closely with our optometrist and support the retail side of the practice. What you’ll be doing: Assisting with optical screening Welcoming and supporting patients through their journey Frame styling, adjustments, and lens advice Practice administration, bookings, and retail support What we’re looking for: Excellent customer service and communication skills Retail or medical experience (preferred but not essential) Strong organisation, initiative, and problem-solving skills A genuine interest in fashion, eyewear and helping people see better Why you’ll love it here: $27-$35/hr (depending on experience) Monday to Friday only – no weekends Free eyewear for you, plus discounts for your family A supportive, passionate, community-minded team About us Alstonville Optometry is a proudly independent, locally owned practice.
